Happy Thanksgiving from the TLQ Team!

As we learned in Triannual III, while we scale to the summit, it’s imperative that we set anchors along the way to sustain us on our quest.

One of our most supportive anchors is gratitude—gratitude for all we’ve accomplished along the way, all that we’ve learned that will help us continue to climb to the peak, and all of the common ground we’ve gained with our fellow leaders.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to grow together, develop our skills, and be better equipped to lead through whatever this next stage of leadership brings.

Gratitude for our families was also a key thread in all of our responses at the Triannual. As we head into this holiday season, allow yourself to unwind and enjoy the benefit of being with your families, letting their presence strengthen you for the next phase of the climb.

If you’re having trouble relaxing into your time with family, be sure to do a “Weekly Mental Download” (workbook page 18) to capture everything you’ll need to tackle once you head back to work. And, reference your “Resilience Plan” (workbook page 13) for key activities that will keep you resourced and strong.

Your personal resilience is one of your greatest assets as you lead your team to the summit! Invest in yourself and commit to making deposits into your emotional reserves through time with family and friends, time spent outdoors and in nature, and time doing what most fills you up.

Share the Gratitude: Easy-Print Thank You Notes for Your Team

If you’re looking for a simple way to express gratitude this Thanksgiving season, we’ve got a resource for you—pre-made thank you note templates you can easily print and share with your teammates and fellow leaders.
Access the easy-to-print thank you template for four thank you cards to send to your team.

Print your thank you cards and celebrate a job well done, a teammate putting in the extra effort, and the hard work it took to bring a project to completion.

Five minutes per week of sending intentional thank yous could mean a world of difference to your team and give you the added benefit of improving your mood and satisfaction at work, too!

Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful things humans can do for each other.
