Reflecting with a Grateful Spirit – A Letter from the Senior Leadership Team
As we reflect on the past several weeks and look toward the future, we challenge you to reflect with a grateful spirit. During the first Leadership Quest Triannual, we learned that despite the financial headwinds faced throughout healthcare, we have a President and CEO and Board of Directors that are committed to investing in you, as a leader! Not only is there investment, there is commitment to your mental, physical, and emotional health.
At Triannual I, we spent time learning about the importance of maintaining resiliency and self-care if we are to be the servant leaders we’ll need to be to transform healthcare and continue Making More Possible for those we serve. We also learned that we must identify and celebrate our personal and business successes and that it is ok to burn things that do not align with our priorities and may be bogging down our already busy schedules.
July 18th and 19th, at Triannual II, we will spend time hearing how the Leadership Quest has been going— sharing the positive changes we have seen personally and in others, and reviewing recent successes and where we may need additional resources.
Just as the Leadership Quest is a gift, remember that each day is also a gift. Take time to look for the small wins! Enjoy a sunset, be willing to laugh at yourself, and reflect on the good things that happen each day.
Most importantly, remember there is power in letting go— so release the bad that happens and start again. Embrace your power and your opportunities! Remember, opportunities help you grow and can provide a bridge to other leaders with strengths you may not possess. Know that in building that bridge, you strengthen the power of teamwork.
You are the leaders chosen for this very important job. You are here for a reason and we are grateful for you.

In this Triannual workshop, we’ll cover the Seven Stages of Employee Engagement and create a new framework for supporting and coaching our employees. We’ll also dive deep into re-designing the patient and customer experience.
